So it's that time of year again, the weathers a bit changeable, the mornings and evenings darker and it's time to think about helping the lawn prepare for winter and to recover from summer usage. So whether that's dealing with the compaction caused by the kids playing by aerating or removing the thatch that has built up through the growing season our machines are out and about. This is our first week of machinery work, the picture is yesterday of me aerating and scarifying a lawn in Aldwick. It's the same every year in this week using muscles that have not been used since last year so a few aches and pains, hot baths and the odd medicinal vibation!
its a great time to repair the years wear, to overseed and deal with any straggling weeds while they are still growing. feeding now needs to be balanced for the season to not encourage too much growth as the temeperatures drop. As the leaves fall remember to get that rake or blower out as the grass can quickly suffer from the loss of sunlight . And so to another day in Aldwick with those machines . Take care Annie!
