The tiny pellets release nutrients gradually so you don’t get a massive flush of growth – think of it like a buffet rather than a Christmas dinner.
- Spring Weed Wipeout – before weeds take a hold we apply selective weed control treatments designed to get them under control. These carefully regulated and perfectly safe for pets and wildlife.
- Summer Care Nutrition – designed so it can be applied even in hot and dry weather without damaging your lawn, this treatment cares for your lawn during the summer season when you are using it most.
- Summer Weed Control – selective herbicides target summer weeds keeping your lawn looking its best
- Autumn Root Development Nutrition – as the year draws to a close your grass still needs nutrition but its important not to promote too much leaf growth. Our autumn nutrition boosts roots to help the plant through winter.
- Autumn Weed Control – any weeds in your lawn in autumn are knocked out by this final treatment of the year.
- Winter Moss Control – liquid application of a professional grade moss control will reduce moss in your lawn.
- Winter Lawn Tonic – designed to green-up your lawn this essential tonic helps your grass deal with challenging winter weather and resist disease
Optional Treatments
AerationAeration is a process where we use a professional machine to create thousands of holes in the lawn which allows better movement of air and water in the root zone. A well-aerated lawn will cope better in periods of drought and will reduce the likelihood of waterlogging. Heavier clay soil profiles, or areas that experience most wear and traffic are prone to compaction and will benefit most from regular aeration. There are different types of aeration, core removal, fracture tine, solid tine we will recommend what's best for your lawn,
We are happy to complete "one off" aerations. |
Scarification Scarification is a process where we use a professional machine to remove thatch and moss that has built up. The process is designed to help the grass by allowing nutrients and oxygen access to the soil layers resulting in a healthier more drought resistant lawn It also creates good conditions to lay seed and for its germination. Removing the thatch layers also helps to discourage disease. This process is undertaken in Spring or Autumn so the lawn has time to recover from the process while conditions are favourable.

Disease ControlWhilst prevention is better then cure and good lawn care practices can help prevent fungus disease's they can still occur on the best maintained lawns. Keep an eye out for typical diseases like Red Thread, Fusarium Patch and Rust. Look for changes in the lawn, patches developing and seeming to spread. Its better to take action quickly and we would rather take a look and find no disease then be called out when the only solution is to apply a fungicide and / repair any damaged areas. We are able to apply a product that has both a preventatative and currative effect on common lawn disease. Find out more about lawn diseases on our "Pests and Diseases" page.
|
Pest ControlWhether its worm castes on the lawn, Chafer Grubs or Leatherjackets eating at the roots of the grass or birds and badgers digging down to get at the grubs we are here to help - check out more on "Lawn Pest & Diseases" on the seperate page on this website.
|
Over Seeding and /or Lawn RennovationGrass is a hardy plant but from time to time the lawn needs to be replenished as we stop the plant from self seeding by regular mowing. So whether its a top up to thicken or rejuvenate the turf or to repair some areas of heavy use or damage we have the right seed for you. Sometimes larger areas or whole lawns need to be renovated and we can do that for you much more economically then laying new turf
|
Drought Control / Water SaverWe are able to apply a professional wetting agent which is designed to help with the management of water in lawns. It helps solve the two main water related problems facing the domestic and commercial lawns today - the lack and cost of suitable irrigation water and Dry Patch. The treatment helps water get to where it needs to be deep into the root zone – because it works so efficiently the amount of irrigation needed is reduced and the plant is better able to cope with dry periods.
Please note that this treatment is not a substitute for watering the lawn. |
